the possibilities are endless
A violin can play Mozart to Movie Themes, Celtic to Contemporary, Renaissance to Rock ‘n roll.
As concert master of the Wilmington symphony, I work with all instruments and can connect you with whatever sound you are looking for. Here are just a few of your options...
SOLO:
1 violin is often enough.
I will begin playing half an hour before your ceremony, setting the mood as your guests arrive. Together we will chose pieces perfect for the mothers' walk down the aisle, the announcement of the bride, and the recessional.
Duets:
2 violins give you a happy sound with fuller dynamics.
1 violin + 1 cello give you a high voice and a low voice.
1 violin + 1 trumpet
TrioS:
2 violins + 1 cello give you the above plus more volume
2 violins + piano (keyboard for outdoors) or organ
1 violin + 1 cello + piano (keyboard for outdoors) or organ
Quartet:
2 violins + 1 viola + 1 cello is a favorite, classic ensemble choice.
ADDITIONS:
A trumpet player added to any of the above ensembles will give your ceremony a real celebratory feel.
